This is us, warts and all

Here at Hancock Creative, we’re nothing if not honest! That’s why we want to take a moment to explain exactly who we are, what we do and why we do it.

So, who are we? Short answer: we’re social-media educators. You know the old adage, “Give a man a fish and he’ll eat for a day, teach him how to fish and he’ll eat forever”? That’s us, except with social media. We’re a team of mentors and educators dedicated to improving the way organisations tell their story.

Oh yes – that’s the other thing. We ONLY work with not-for-profits, worthy causes and social enterprises. If you’re doing good, then we’re here to help you tell your story. It’s a unique business model, certainly, but it works for us!

Hancock Creative wasn’t an overnight idea that came into fruition overnight.

Just like every successful business, it took our founder, Alecia Hancock, time to figure things out as well. Alecia started out as a journalist, editing various magazines and publications until her early 30s. Then, she came up with an idea for a one-stop-shop creative agency.

After a few years of running a super-successful creative agency, Alecia realised that her true passion lay in training, educating and mentoring not-for-profits. And so, Hancock Creative was born!

Hancock Creative is a profit-for-purpose business that is 100% cause-focused. We ONLY work with not-for-profits, charities and worthy causes. Our mission is to make a difference; to change the world.

Our mission is to create a sustainable future for social enterprises, community groups and not-for-profits. Yes, that’s you.

We want to help you because we truly believe in your cause. We want to see you succeed and meet your goals. We understand your struggles and we want you to know that we are here to help. We want to help you tell your stories because we believe that powerful storytelling can change the world.

When you finally come to put your trust in Hancock Creative, whenever that may be, we would like to think we have truly earned it.

You don’t have to stand alone. We are a team and we are all in this together.
