It can be pretty darn hard to reach big awareness, customer attraction, fundraising or volunteer goals with limited time and money. Big television and print campaigns can be pretty expensive, and a little bit daunting.

Nick is the only person in the Southern Hemisphere to have worked for both Facebook and Twitter, and the only person in the world to work in marketing for both brands. He is an entrepreneur and social media thought leader, with a passion for authentic storytelling. He is a regular speaker on mental health and has worked with a number of not for profits as an advisor and board member.
Alecia is an entrepreneur, educator, and director of Hancock Creative. She has published hundreds of articles, created award-winning social media campaigns, and is a sought after speaker and not for profit trainer. Alecia was chosen as one of WA’s most influential people in business by NIFNEX, and her business was named Telstra Micro Business of the Year WA 2017, and won a national web award for Social Media Campaign of the Year in 2016.
Richard is a young entrepreneur and investor, and was recently named one of Start-up Daily’s Top 3 Emerging Leaders in Australia. Since leaving school at the age of 16, Richard has led multi-million dollar education businesses The Entourage and Unfiltered. He also has investments in six high-growth businesses, and sits on advisory boards for businesses around the world. He will be flying in from Sydney to host Change the World Brisbane.
After learning about fundraising in his 4-year-old Kindy class, Scott decided he needed to help sick kids and babies, so he founded Scott’s Great Walk. Now Scott is 12-years-old and has become a 4x marathoner, walked 382km in 8 years, and become Telethon’s Biggest Littlest Fundraiser by raising $140,000. Scott is a published author and motivational speaker.
Cameron is Chief Product Officer and Co-founder of Canva, an online design and publishing tool which makes graphic design simple. Since launching in 2013, Canva has grown to over 10 million users across 190 countries, with more than 400 million designs created – that’s 13 designs per second! He will be sharing the Canva story, and lessons on how the tool can save not-for-profits time and money.

Definitely not. You’ve never been to an event like this. There will be pumping music, plenty of laughs, loads of free stuff, heaps of inspiration, and sometimes even a few tears.
This is an event for people who seriously want to change the world, and it is unlike any training event you’ve ever been to. You will leave with your head buzzing with ideas and a heart full of passion.
Absolutely, totally, 100% free. This is our way to give back to the community on a large scale, and tickets to this will always be free.
Speakers may bring along books they’ve published, and they may be available on the day to buy for anyone chasing them.
A limited number of VIP tickets will be available before the event day, for people who want to upgrade to front row seating, lunch included, a goodie bag and a chance to meet the speakers.
Great question, and we’re so glad you asked. There is no catch. Nobody will be selling you anything at all!!! This is our way to give back to the cause sector on a large scale, consider this a way to seriously scale our pro bono hours for the year.
We figure if you love what we do enough, you’ll come and find us when you’re ready to get some more social media help.
Even better, there will be a $5000 training grant available for attendees. Alecia will briefly talk you through this, and let you know how you can apply for it after Change the World is over.

Of course, seat numbers are limited so if everybody in your office registers and we have a wait list, we may ask you nicely to reconsider if everybody needs to be there. 😉
Nope. There are a strictly limited number of seats, so you need to register before the event day. Once the event is full, we will close registrations, and you don’t want to miss out.
We don’t release the agenda for the day, and that’s for a really simple reason. This event is super expensive to put on (it costs about $200 per person), and our speakers fly from all around the country to be there, so we want to make sure everyone that registers uses their ticket for the full day.
Otherwise, someone else might miss out on a seat while someone else only comes along to see one person.
Besides, we know every speaker is so awesome, you’ll truly want to be there for every single one. We’re investing in you.
World Square covers an entire city block bounded by George, Liverpool, Pitt, and Goulburn streets and is conveniently located close to various transport services and an onsite car park.
